I received a PhD in Political Science (2015) and a M.A. in Statistics (2013) from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Since 2016, I am associate professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG).  My current research interests are elections, polarization and misinformation.

​My research has been published at the Journal of Politics, at the International Journal of Public Opinion Research, at the Brazilian Political Science Review, at Revista Dados, at Revista Latino-americana de Opinion Pública, among other outlets. 

​My research has received awards by the Society for Political Methodology, APSA’s Public Policy Section, REPAL committee, CEPESP-FGV  and UCLA’s Department of Political Science. ​
